Antique Chinese Ming Zodiac Bearers

A group of 13 antique Chinese sancai glazed (three-color) pottery statues, late Ming dynasty, 17th century. 12 of the figures are modeled holding an animal, each animal representing one of the 12 Chinese Zodiac signs. The 13th and slightly larger figure is an official presiding over the procession of Zodiac bearers. Measure: Height 7 inches.
