Mid-Century Modern Skovmand & Andersen for Moreddi Rosewood Dining Table

Danish Mid-Century Modern rosewood and teak folding dining table by Skovmand & Andersen for MM Moreddi, mid-20th century. Bears label for “Skovmand & Andersen, made in Denmark” and the “MM Moreddi, Denmark” stamp on underside. Very unusual design. Can be used in multiple different configurations. Very nice wood and great condition.

Moreddi was an import company, not a manufacturer. It was started by Maury and Ed Frank to bring Danish modern design into the United States. The Moreddi business was sold to DUX in the early 1970s.
