Heavy Taxco Mexican silver basketweave collar necklace, late 20th century; marked “TA-146/Mexico/Sterling”.
Measures: Length 17 1/4 inches, diameter closed 7 inches, width 1 3/8 inches.

Note: After 1979, Mexican silver marks changed from the Eagle to this system. The T indicates Taxco, the A-146, indicates the artist last name begins with an A and he was the 146 silversmith with initial letter A to register at the assay office.
