Late 19th-early 20th century painted wood trade sign for the Union Hosiery Co. F.P. Stewart. Signed lower right “E.W. Dearborn”. Measures: 16 1/2 × 49 1/2 inches.

According to the Textile World Record, the Union Hosiery Co., originally owned and operated by F.P. Stewart in Laconia, New Hampshire moved to Tilton, New Hampshire in 1905.
